Warehousing and Storage, NVQ Level 2
This is a Level 2 qualification aimed at individuals involved in the safe and efficient receipt, movement, storage, handling and dispatch of goods in a warehousing and logistics environment. They must show a sufficient level of competence to complete 2 Mandatory units, plus a further 6 units (for a total of 8 units) from a choice of 15 Optional ones.
The optional units include demonstrating the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers, maintaining the safety of goods and keeping records of stock movement. A full list of the units is shown below.
Employees are encouraged to achieve as many units where they can demonstrate competence and not just the minimum number for a full award.

- WS15 Process orders for dispatch to customers
- WS16 Assemble orders for dispatch
- WS17 Dispatch goods for delivery
- WS18 Process returned goods
- WS19 Sort goods and materials for recycling
- WS20 Manage the receipt, storage or dispatch of goods
- WS21 Audit stock levels and stock records
