Smurfit Kappa Recycling UK is part of Smurfit Kappa UK ltd. Collecting recovered fibre from various national outlets, Smurfit Kappa Recycling processes the recovered fibre and sends it on to its paper mills, the paper mills then send the fibre to be transformed into items such as cardboard boxes and food packaging.
Based in Staffordshire, with several depots nationwide, the firm has a workforce of 160, with 77 drivers working a fleet of 50 vehicles.
In February, Logistics Learning World started working with Smurfit Kappa Recycling to qualify its drivers in Driving Goods Vehicles NVQ at Level 2.
