Pre and Post Journey Procedures: 1 Day; The purpose of this unit is to enable the learner to identify what pre and post journey checks have to be completed, in accordance with the relevant legislation and regulation.
Health and Safety Provisions and Customer Services within the Logistics Industry: 1 Day; The aim of this unit is to enable the learner to recognise and apply the principles of an appropriate and effective level of customer service.
Route Planning for the Delivery and Collection of Loads: 1 Day; The purpose of this unit is to enable the learner to identify and select suitable routes to specific delivery and collection destinations.
Safety and Security of Loads, Self and Property: 1 Day; The candidate should know his or her own responsibilities under the legal, safety and operating requirements that relate to the vehicles, loads and roads.s
Transportation of Goods and Materials: 1 Day; The purpose of this unit is to enable the learner to safely and efficiently transport goods to a specified location.
Tachographs and the Working Time Directive: 1 Day; The learner will acquire a full understanding of EU and domestic drivers' hours, working time and competent Tachograph record keeping.
